Lady X, is an entertainer and model of the Diné Nation. A lady to the eyes and explicit to the ears she has become hip hop’s very own Native American bombshell. Lady X represents Hip Hop with her culture, lifestyle and lyrics with a new west flow over bass infused beats. NAMA nominated, she is also the first female to receive ISMA for Best Hip Hop, has released four music projects, toured nationally and in Europe. You can also find her as a host on internet talk show, The Break.
Lady X has surpassed the idea of the music industry being a man’s world with her “I can wear the pants but do it better in a skirt” attitude. Lady X tailors each of her performances to make each one unique as her music and audiences are. Aside from her passion for music Lady X enjoys working with youth, especially in the impoverished communities.
As one of a small group of female emcees in the South West and the Native community, she has worked with a long list of artist and DJ’s around the world and is also featured on projects with E40, Raekwon, Young Buck and Petey Pablo. Lady X has been published in several magazines & newspapers, her music is in radio roatation, she has also worked with Yahoo.com, Pepsi Cola and with the Navajo Nation to promote safe sex awareness through her music. Today with gained experience her talents have afforded her the ability to perform for several mainstream artists such as Lil Kim, E-40 and Too Short in addition to the San Diego PRIDE Fest and Navajo President Dr. Joe Shirley.
